Global Power Plant Database
What are the biggest power plants around the world, where are they located and which on fuel types are they operating?
Based on the annual ranking of the top 2000 public companies in the world compiled by World Resources Institute magazine, we created a dataset that can directly be loaded into TreeMap. It covers approximately 30,000 power plants from 164 countries and includes thermal plants (e.g. coal, gas, oil, nuclear, biomass, waste, geothermal) and renewables (e.g. hydro, wind, solar).
